Welcome to visitors

Thank you for stopping in to the Tudor Times. We hope that you will enjoy your stay.
The Tudor Times was conceived one night while I pondered weak and weary over a volume of forgotten lore...oh, wait, that's been done. One evening, I was reading a very boring book with nearly every sentence containing the words, "In the Tudor times...the Tudor times...in Tudor times..." I mean, if anyone ever needed an editor, it was this dude.
Suddenly, through some mysterious process that defies logic, "the Tudor times" became "The Tudor Times", a parody publication containing all the news that's fit to print from, well, the Tudor times, what else?
Please Browse our Bookstore, we have one of the very best on the web for Renaissance topics. Your purchases help to keep the Tudor Times on line. Besides, if you read all these books, or at least look at the pictures, as I have, then, you, too, can publish your own ridiculous website at great personal and financial cost. Click here for "Books for Writers."
Students, please understand that we do not help with homework. While I've (mostly) enjoyed receiving emails from students in the past, I regret that I can no longer answer them personally. I also regret that I cannot critique or edit written materials, unless prior arrangements are made (read: acceptance of my usual, customary and quite reasonable fees for same)
If you are looking for the previous "Discourse" page, it's....well...history. I was tired of trying to delete all the websites that someone put in each and every day.
The background song is "Lady Hunsdon's Alman", in honor of George Carey, Baron Hunsdon, one of the earliest patrons of Shakespeare. George's paternal grandmother was Mary Boleyn, Anne Boleyn's elder sister.
